Overview
ILCMA is pleased to offer four scholarships to its summer conference and four scholarships to its winter conference to MPA students. The scholarship provides for conference registration, which includes meals and room accommodations.
Qualifications
You must be currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time student and be planning on a career in local government management (municipal or county).
Apply
To apply, send the following:
- Letter indicating why attending the conference would be beneficial to you
- Statement of career goals
- Resume
- Letter of recommendation from either your intern supervisor or faculty advisor
Applications need to be received by May 1 for the summer conference and by January 7 for the winter conference. It is preferred that one send a pdf file of one’s application to Dawn S. Peters at dpeters@niu.edu. Or, applications can be mailed to:
