Services
In 1974, the Association established a permanent Secretariat at the Center for Governmental Studies at Northern Illinois University. Under the direction of the Board of Directors, the Secretariat is responsible for implementing association policy.
It acts as a liaison between those in local government administration and other organizations interested in municipal management.
