The newly launching Local Gov Stories podcast is all about casting a spotlight on the many stories of service in the local government profession! This new podcast will:
1) Preview enrichment opportunities – including conferences and other educational and/or social events that create stronger connections within the profession.
2) Help to tell the stories of how different people entered the profession – through internships, out of college, moving up the ranks, or from the private sector.
3) Showcase a “Day in the Life” of professionals around the State – to share experiences through their daily work, along with challenges, successes and more.
4) Highlight the diverse people who work in the profession and how local government is open to all.
5) Share how different organizations are working to engage the local government leaders of tomorrow by connecting with our youth through different programming.
