The Village of Glencoe is looking for a Summer Engineering Intern to work alongside the Village Engineer. This position provides an excellent opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom to real projects. Hourly Rate: $18.63 – $25.88
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Eligible for Overtime)
Schedule: Temporary, Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM
Department: Public Works

This is your chance to:

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field data collection and enter information into GIS systems (via collector app)
- Assist with pavement condition assessments and infrastructure evaluations
- Observe and support the Village Engineer in construction project inspections
- Participate in construction plan reviews and project management tasks
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
-
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate program in civil engineering or a closely related field.
Experience:

- Less than one year of relevant work experience required
Licenses & Certifications:

- Must possess a valid passenger vehicle driver’s license
